Director Chair

Description

A director's chair is a compact chair that can be folded in half using scissors. The frame is made of wood, occasionally metal or plastic, and the seat and back are made of canvas or a comparable sturdy fabric that can withstand the full weight of the user and be folded. Together, the seat and scissors members support and evenly distribute the sitter's weight to maintain a comfortably taut seat. The chair typically has armrests and a low back.
